Algebra2 Part 7Chapter 1
A devised way to show 'Internal Notation' called Table 1.1
Service Description
It is a Number Line Graph for 'Inequality Notation'. On the left side of is the 'Inequality Notation' and on the right side is the ' Interval Notation'. In the middle it shows a marked area of the money line the notation can exist for example with the 'Inequality Notation' -2 <_ x <_5 it shows the marked number line with a line of a line with only 12 evenly marked little lines across it, a zero marked at the fifth line going across what they call the number line, and arrows at each end. Parallel across the top of it is a thicker line marked different ways according to the Notations. For this first inequality of -2 <_ x <_5 with the Internal Notation of [-2, 5] of the thick line, it shows the thick line going across of the top of the number line from two marks left of the zero to five marks to the right of the zero. Each end of the thick line comes down on the left side of the zero to a filled dotted circle on the money line exactly 2 dots left of line marked zero and then the thick line stretches across and comes down to the number line ending the tick line exactly at the fifth mark 5 marks to the right of the zero with a filled in circle on that fifth mark. Meaning the answer could be on the number line anywhere and including the -2 and the 5 on the line. For the notation -2< x < 5 of the internal notation (-2,5) it has the thick line the same way across only the circles on the number line are not filled in but empty. With the Inequality Notation -2< x <_ 5 and the Interval Notation of (-2, 5] the thick line is shown down to the number line at two small marks to the left of the zero with an empty circle and a filled in circle 5 small marks to the right side of the zero. The next Inequality Notation -2 <_ x < 5 with the Interval Notation of [-2,5) is the same thick line across coming down on the number line two marks left of the zero and a filled in circle at the end but on the right 5th little line the circle is open. The 5th Inequality Notation is x<_ 5 and an Internal Notation of (- eternity sign, 5] the thick line starts at the 5th mark to the right of zero with filled in circle and going up and straight across above to where the -2 two marks to the left of zero only not coming down but with an arrow at that end. The next Inequality Notation is x > -2 and the Internal Notation of (-2, eternity sign), the thick line comes up from an open circle at that 2nd mark to the left up and straight out to an arrow at the 5th mark right of zero.
