Service Description

Grandma forgot to tell impaired what each problem was and what the question wanted For Questions 13-16, the Section wants a graph drawn and each line labeled on graph paper. If you cannot see to do this or have special tools it will be needed to describe it the same as Grandma does on the computer or relate it to your instructor. Each graph will have the x and y lines cross exactly opposite of each other with their intercept as zero on the number lines. All lines will have arrows on the ends of them. The first linear 1-13. y= 5 The given linear is drawn straight across 5 above and parallel to the x line running straight through the y line at 5 above on the graph. 1-14. x = -3 The linear will run straight up and down next to the y line intercepting the x line at -3 or 3 cubes to the left of y. 1-15. y = -2x The linear will run directly diagonally through the x and y intercept and run through the cube exactly -2 cubes below the x line. 1-16. y = 4 - x The linear will run diagonal to the x and y intercept with the line running through both x and y at a positive 4 on the graph. For 1-17 and 1-18. a. express the equations in y = mx b form; b. identifying the slope and the y-intercept; c. sketch the graph as before showing the x and y lines completely opposite each other and arrows at the ends of each line. 1-17. is 4x + 3y = 6 a. to show it in y = mx + b form one would first have to take -4x +4x + 3y = -4x +6 away from each side leaving 3y =-4x + 6, then 3 divided from each 3y/3=-4x/3 +6/3 leaving y= -4x/3 + 2. b. The slope is -4/3 and the y-intercept is 2. c. To graph the linear y = -4x/3 + 2 as normal the x and y intercept each other perfectly opposite with the slope 4 cubes below the line on y line for the negative and 3 blocks to the right on x line making it diagonal to their interception. 1-19. Wants you to write the equation of the line having the given slope and y-intercept. a. slope = -2 , y-intercept =6. The answer would be y = -2x + 6. b. slope =0 , y-intercept =4. The answer would be y = 4 1-20. Find the equation of the line having slope 3 and passing through the point (4, -3 ). The answer would be y = 3(x -4) -3. 1-21. Find the equation of the line that passes through the points (3,2) and (6, -4). The answer is y = -2(x -3) +2 or y = -2(x-6) -4 1-22. Find the equation of the line passing through the points (3, -2) and ( 3 ,4). The answer is x=3. (Grandma wants to finish with the last question on another lesson.)
