First History

Ok Grandma must type this again. We are reading the beginning of the "Holy Bible" starting with Genesis chapter 1 and following through to Noah's time as the beginning of history which is the beginning of our History Lessons in Grandma's Place of Natural Learning. This can be pinned on our timeline somewhere in a room to learn from else recorded in some way. In Genesis 1:1-2 the Bible says this is the beginning of time. We believe this as Christians. It says God was a "Spirit" or "Ghost" as we might think it in verse 2. It says he was floating through a body of water we might think of as space. God came up with a plan. In Genesis 2-8 God came up with what he called light. Then he divided that up to make part of darkness. He called them Day and Night. This is considered the 1st day. Then God formed the waters of our planet and Heaven together. He said Heaven was a firmament of moisture. They say in Genesis 3-8this happened the 2nd day. Then the third day Genesis 9-13 says God formed the land out of the waters. He made the grass, herbs, and trees with fruit. This is called the 4th day when God forms the two entities of light and a greater light for the day being the greater and night being the other. Along with-it God made the stars. This is in Genesis 14-18. The next day being the 5th day God formed the fish of the sea and big whales. Then he made the birds of the trees. He told them to be fruitful and multiply. This all happened in Genesis 19-23. Then in Genesis 24-31 He put every crawling creature and beast that walk on the earth to roam about. The bible said God then formed man and woman he called Adam and Eve. It says there he made him dominate the other creatures and be able to name them. This is considered the 6th day. Genesis 2 of the Bible talks about the 7th day of creation in which he blessed and sanctified it as he rested that day. That is why we made it holy, and nobody was to work that day. Grandma of Grandma's Place of Natural Learning will have to stop here for now because she is running out of typing space. We will continue the bible lesson because I assume it has been 1 hour of learning for history.
