Geometry Chapter 1 part 6
finishing up a few examples of angle vertex's and moving to the end of chapter1
Service Description
Grandma will finish with the first chapters of the math books until we have some interests When grandma has some people signed up of at least 5-10 lessons we will move to the next lessons. Otherwise, grandma will push for the new fall interests. Maybe no summer lessons. To connect ourselves to the last lesson, Grandma will let you know we were talking about angle vertex in the section of learning and there was a 'plane' with several 'angles' or 'vertex' showing a third problem being given. It was said that the 'angles' could be expressed in numbers instead of letters. The third part of the section dealt with a four angled plane ABCD with a diagonal line into B and D. It divided those two angles giving a total of 8 different angles on that plane. The book also gives two examples in this section. Example 1.1 Gives a line of points JWR with a line across the top normally and arrows at the ends. The book asks to a. Name the accompanying line in three different ways. Solution JW and a line with arrows on the ends over it, WR and a line with arrows on the ends over it, and JR and a line with arrows on the ends over it. b. Name three different segments. Solution JW with only a line over it, WR with only a line over it, and JR with only a line over it. c. Name four different rays. Solution JR with a line and right arrow, WR with a line and a right arrow, RJ with a line and a right arrow, and a WJ with a line and a right arrow. d. Name a pair of opposite rays. Solution WJ and a line with a right arrow over it and WR with a line and a right arrow over it. (Next lesson)
