Grandma has more to share with parent homeschooling their child(ren). In realizing all the information, she has to share with parents she also knows there was more she had to share with them about homeschooling. First it is important to keep some chart of time, and they have found a line strung on a wall is best to pin happenings on. The other thing is she wants to let parents know the first schools of the North America and South America were in the back yards of nature until Germany and other people got their noses in there. Learning has been done in the natural yards of our lands for years before and still of today. My cousin in the farm and ranch area I was born in he said the school he remembers was in a barn not too far from their ranch. Another message Grandma remembered was that the advantage a parent has over a public school is that Learning can be done at various times in different time frames than the public school. Grandma was worried because Grandma's Place of Natural Learning got started so late in the season, but she realized a lot of time in our natural world can be contributed to learning. Grandma realized that even evening sports, activities, gardening, learning from the other parents as painting and building; even music and vocal lessons, even church and church meetings are part of learning. Playing a family game or cards at night, camping, fishing, and other experiences are part of learning. Even cooking together is part of Learning. Therefore, Grandma is going to use those also in this time of the year. That seems unfair but it is to help the program of Grandma's Place of Natural Learning. You will not even know they happened but keep a record anyway. I hope you enjoy the program I have to offer you and your child(ren). One last thing Grandma forgot to mention is that it is best to keep posters or charts of terms, words, sounds, places. alphabets, and anything to remember and learn. Keep a record of many things in notebooks. Make characters or puppets and put on many skits and do role play because it all draws interest in learning. Take care and I hope for the best. The classes will start on August 17 of 2025 and can be adjusted by parents however necessary just keep a record 0f how the learning was done. Another note is to mark various areas of learning if necessary and things of learning in them as they are added.
