Grandma is all about our beginnings

Service Description

This is significant to Grandma's Place of Natural Learning because we will be learning more about Columbus soon. For now, Grandma wants to finish the beginning of time first. I want you to know the rest of Genesis 2 in the Bible talks about what happened to Adam and Eve. It says in Genesis that he had formed Adam in the image of himself and said it like he was referring to other spirits about it. Later the Bible talks about how Adam was a name used for all men in the beginning of the Bible so each animal and man himself may have evolved in different ways than we think but the first man did not have to plant and toil the earth as we do now. It formed its own moisture in this firmament of heaven. Man named all the animals on earth and many fish developed. It was a lot different, but Adam (the first man) and Eve were not to eat of a certain tree God had warned them. God put them in a land they called the Garden of Eden. Man, today has researched and figured out that Area to be in the Mediterranean Area of a Continent called Asia. There are maps in the Bible. We will come back to Adam and Eve soon, but I want you to get a poster or cardboard or even a notebook to record the 7 Continents of our World (Earth). They are Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Antartica, and Australia. We will be studying all of these Continents. See if any of the children can find them on a map or globe. Talk a little about it. Now as far as Adam and Eve, they lived pretty nicely until a very bad angel of God named Lucifer posed as a Serpent or snake and talked Eve into eating of the tree holding bad and good thoughts that God warned them not to eat of. Then Eve talked Adam into eating of it. They started feeling ashamed of themselves. In Genesis 3 God figured what had happened and said they had to come out of the Garden of Eden, and he fixed so no others could go in there. He told Adam and Eve to keep multiplying, He placed pain on Eve in childbearing and placed a curse on the serpent for man to be afraid of him. Then in Genesis 4 Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel. In time Cain killed Abel out of Jealousy towards Gods admiration of Abel's herd. God sent him from the land as a fugitive or vagabond. Out of mercy God became lament on Cain. However, God knew it was not going to change the situation any. We will stop here in the bible after this first lesson.
