Plastic silverware puppets
This lesson will tie in with the Math and Algebra lessons that will be next.
Service Description
For the Lessons the children can color, paint or glue clothe on Plastic silverware for puppets or make them from wood sticks. They can also use upside down cups. They can also use cups upside up also. Let them use some of their own ideas. These puppets or characters can be used to count, add and subtract. They can be any cartoon character or heroes they want them to be, but for those just starting Algebra a book Grandma has for you to use in their learning of the first Algebra it has these special characters to help you. The book says they are from a faraway land called "Camora." One is a lady professor with a robe on and boots. Another is A guy that looks like a wizard called "Marcus Recordis" then a regular renaissance farmer with a leather shirt on. Then there is "the King" and a "wicked stranger" that looks like a ghoul. A ferry counter and big baby is sitting on a scale in the second chapter. These can also be done with pictures, or they can dress as the characters themselves. The children can also make puppets or pictures of God, the first man, or themselves. I have "Barron's E-Z Algebra" by Douglas Downing, that has the characters in it. The rest do not have characters in them they are: "Barron's Algebra 2(second edition) by Meg and Glenn Clemens, "Barron's E-Z Geometry" by Lawrence S. Leff, and "Barron's E-Z Chemistry" by Joseph A. Mascetta, M.S., C.A.S., and Mark C. Kernion, M.A. Grandma can email a chapter or half as you need it to you if you contact me. In the meantime, you will have to do your best. For math problems should be given for at least the next half an hour to an hour. Make any record the children use measuring or learn ingredients or write a recipe, a chart or anything for class time, record it. Even toddlers and young babies are learning every day. Find out why if they are crying constantly when needs are met. Math is spontaneous or a planned 5-minute coverage with counting things or talking about various colors, animals or things as mom or dad etc. Learning students should have at least 15-minute to 30-minute sessions of learning. Older students can move to 1-hour sessions. Keep them all simple and fun.
