Rest of Geom Chapter1 part3
We are now into Postulates in Grandma's Place of Natural Learning.
Service Description
The book just used a Line AB to describe the first 'postulate' (or 'axiom') It said that if there are two dots on a line, a second line cannot draw through it without curving as it shows that in the case of this 'postulate' the two points A and B can be within two different planes. They can be on the line of a plane over the top of another plane and still be part of another actually on it or in it as the illustration shows. But in the case of the second 'postulate' 1.2 Three 'noncollinear points' determine a plane in that they exist in a plane together so there must be something there they call a plane because it has connecting points in it. Therefore, there has to be a plane. But Postulate 1.1 shows another plane going through the first Plane and them sharing the AB line or points A and B. This so called Postulate 1.1 of the book says it "Implies that through two points exactly one line may be drawn while Postulate 1.2 showing one plane with three noncollinear points on it which asserts that a plane is defined when a third point not on this line is given.
