The Beginning of Geometry
This will cover the title page and the preface.
Service Description
All I can give you about the title page is that it was published by Baron's Educational series, Inc. 2000, 1997, 1990, 1984. The Contents comes next but grandma will probably have to break it up in parts. The Preface-by Lawerence S. Leff states E-Z GEOMETRY is different than most books that tend to resemble handbooks that reduce geometry to a list of formulas followed by a stream of exercises. This book "teaches" a beginning course of Geometry, using a friendly style with the same strategies a classroom teacher would use so it is E-Z, featuring self-study and rapid learning with. Concepts carefully developed examples and diagrams of understanding and know how to for new problem solving. Discussions, examples, and summaries anticipate and answer the "why" the teacher explains in class. Each chapter ends with comprehensive exercises that clinch understanding of key ideas building skill and confidence in solving problems. Three sets of review exercises, act as checkpoints, ensuring long-term learning. All answers are given to you from the back of the book. Geometric formulas and relationships are in easy-to-read tables at the end of the book and I will explain the best I can. Geometric terms are collected and given in a glossary at the end of the book (and given in pictures Grandma took also, covering the best she can.) The latest edition of E-Z GEOMETRY adds a chapter of Transformation Geometry. It also reorganizes the exercise sections and makes minor changes for better readability. Grandma will give the contents to the impaired in another lesson, I believe there are pictures of it if wish also.)
